YMCA East Surrey runs the Horley Young People and Family Centre on behalf of Surrey County Council. We work closely with our partner providers – Welcare Redhill, Epsom Downs Primary School and Furzefield Primary (The Red Oak) across the area of Reigate and Banstead to meet the needs of local families.
We are located at The Old Fire Station on Albert Road, at the heart of the Horley community and are a ‘one-stop-shop’ for children, young people and their families. We provide advice, information, family support, courses, activities and much more.
Surrey County Council now focuses its resources on helping the families most in need of support. Surrey County Council will no longer provide universal services for all families at Family Centres, but other organisations, such as health visitors, may offer these at the centres and at other community venues.
